I have a tree I let sit in front of my Chams cage he likes to walk out on. Since it warmed up some I sat it outside. 5 mins later I see him climb on the ground and hes running across the yard ?. He wasn't happy but I got him to show some nice colors.?‍?

You let him to walk in your yard? Seems scary because birds can take a chameleon easly.

Keep an eye on him now that you know how quickly they can dissappear

Always do. I've been a dad for 11 yrs.

Not sure what he wants so bad I think a Bush but I just sat him out and immediately he attempted it again

chameleons really prefer natural sunlight. I take my cham out every day, and now that it is raining, he is desperately trying to go outside, climbing on the screen, and climbing on me when I put the feeders in. He goes from the back to of thew cage to the very front when i go in the room. Try moving the tree to a sunny spot in the house for him to bask. He will love it. Keep him supervised though, or he may escape.

This is the 3rd time hes been out. I can tell he really enjoys it. I take him outside on my lunch break everyday lately. Hes very colorful outside. Showed some reds today

Chameleons have such an interesting way of walking on flat surfaces. I've been on youtube watching them run. It's hard to imagine, but chameleon have been on earth for 60 million years. I guess a chameleons style of running really works to survive that long, but it feels so alien.
