Just thought I'd throw up an update on my growing babies! These are my first panthers and they're all doing very well!

1 year old Ambilobe Male (Yurimaru's grandbaby)

8 Month Old Sambava from local WC Male
(He shows nice greens in his barring at times)
Are Sambavas slow to colour up? He didn't get a great start to his life before I got ahold of him!

9 Month old Nosybe from Chamman's breeding colony

Man, I'm having a hard time taking good pictures...anybody make some recommendations to take better ones?

Something strange...the progression of colour change in the ambilobe. I'm thinking he's going to turn brighter reds like he was when he was younger. Any opinions from the experts? His daddy is almost all red and granddaddy is yurimaru from screameleons...so lots of red!

Gorgeous chams!

If you want photos advice, I'd say try not using your flash. Or try defusing your flash by putting a cut out piece of milk jug over it, so the light is softer.

Thanks everyone! Royden, I didn't ever think of piece of milkjug...those pics were taken with toilet tissue over flash, but as you can see it was still too much light.

The daddy of my ambilobe is this boy!

And of course you know his dad...which I confirmed with Screameleons.

And daddy of my female ambilobe.

When breeding time comes, I would think my babies will be nice?

By the way..Dean, your blue bar is really gorgeous. Love his colouring! Did he ever change back and forth like mine did as a youngster?

Hey Cowchick! Increase the space between the flash and the diffuser. The closer the diffuser is to the subject the better. That's why something like a milkjug is good. Some guys just cut a little hole in the milkjug and hold it over the flash.

Those are some incredible bloodlines.
