Panther VS Carpet

Was wondering what the main differences between these two chameleons are. As far as color while fired up and at rest...
Also in the care for them.

Google

This is something that can be answered really easily by googling it. I would love to help but there are better descriptions and photos elsewhere.

Most questions and comments here can be googled elsewhere. I prefer the interaction of other caring real person experiance that only hobbiests can provide. :)

Carpet Chameleons are smaller than panthers and can be housed in a smaller cage.

Their care and requirements are about the same.

The female carpet is more colorful than the male unlike panthers where the male is the colorful one.

Carpet Chameleons are more difficult to breed than panthers .

Carpet Chameleons have a shorter life span - about 3 years compared to panthers that live 5 plus years

Most carpets offered for sale are wild caught .. if you get one try to find a captive bred or captive hatched one...

WOW!! No way! They are amazing looking!! I'm going to have to give them more consideration. What about them is harder to care for than panthers?

Nothing really, I don't think they're harder to take care of. They're just harder to find for sale. I have a male now and am waiting for a female, and hope to see where that goes in the coming year or two. I love my male, he's so pretty.

Everybody talks really highly about FL Chams too. I couldn't find pics of actual chameleons for sale on their site... If it is the site I am thinking about.

Carpets

FLchams has carpets available, Big apple Pet supply, and reptilerapture.net if you still looking get one!

I'm going to check out those sites right now. I'll have to give FL chams a call don't want to bother them about it yet cause I don't have the supercage ready yet...
