Panthers-what's a girl to do?

I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on the different Panthers? Ambilobe, Ambanja, Sambava, Tamatave, cross morph?

I'm trying to decide which one I want. I want them all, but alas, I have a husband who hates reptiles but tolerates them for me. ONE bearded dragon and ONE chameleon are about all he can handle.


What is your favorite? If you own one, what do you like about it and can you post a picture?

I have an ambanja. When he was small he used like run around his cage and living room like he was in a marathon now that he's gotten a little bit bigger he just takes casual walks and is super friendly. As soon as his lights come on he warms up then tries to open the cage to let himself out (caution always lock the cage door lol). Here he is as a babe at four ish months in January and here Is a picture of him right now. Best of luck on whoever you choose!

Thanks, I was actually looking at an Ambanja. He's beautiful! My last one was an Ambilobe. What colors does an Ambanja show when fired up?

I'm a big fan of my ambilobe from paradise chameleons (site sponsor) and Bruce is a great help to get everything set up from cage, food, supplements etc. I've added my guys thread link that shows his development(he was sired by Cowboy). Good luck, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

Actually, the one I just lost was from Bruce. He was sired by Candy Cane and he was beautiful! I am just devastated that he's gone. Bruce was great to work with too.

This was him pissed off after his vet visit.

Thank you! Tony will get either really dark or a bright red when he is fired up.

So, I just spent close to an hour on the phone with Brianna at Kammerflage Kreations and ended up ordering this little Ambanja guy! The Sire is the blue one and the Red barred guy is a picture of the Dams brother. I am so excited to see how he grows! He's be getting here next week.

I was debating between him and Sambava male who's daddy had some amazing pastel colors! I have never seen anything like him before. And then there was a cross Morph that will be a kelidescope of colors someday. Ugh...it was such a hard decision!! But I went with the Abanja because I really liked what both sides of his bloodline had to offer and he's an Alpha and i wanted something a bit on the big side.

I can not wait till he gets here!!
