i am in love with them they are so stunningly beautiful! so pricey though :( which locale would i be best off with? (Least in cost)

Just because I can, I'm going to throw a wrench into your thread! Panther's are incredible but if you're looking for one that is 'least in cost' can you actually provide all the necessities a chameleon needs once it is in your care? These animals are incredibly expensive to keep so you must be able to afford the equipment, the food, the food for the food and of course, the vet bills. Just 'food' for thought!

Yes I understand all the necessities. This wouldnt be my first cham either. I was just curious on different prices for the chams. I can totally care for it and give it whatever it needs that's definitely not an issue

I can't agree more. My girlfriend and I got out first tropical lizards with no idea how much they could cost. Now, even though I've grown to love them more than I thought I could, I still have to face the facts that my addiction has to be limited to my financial abilities. These guys aren't a snake you can feed a dollar mouse to once a week. By the time these guys get to a year, you can expect to pay $1000+ once you've bought the animal, proper caging and equipment, vets, feeders, etc. It's a slippery slope that can get you in over your head before you know it. Even now, after countless hours of googling and more $ than I care to admit, I still don't feel like I know enough or even still have ALL the perfect equipment.

Thats great news! ;) Sorry to question you but I am a concerned chameleon lover and hate to hear of owners not able to properly care for their pets!

Good luck finding one that fits your personal requirements and be sure to show him off here when you find one!!

The biggest difference in Panthers is the amount of care and time you have to put into them. If you've had chameleons it's not going to be a huge difference compared to some others, but in general I've noticed I just like to be on top of everything constantly and it has given me good results thus far. The differences among the different locales are going to be mainly the humidity and temperature depending on what part of the island they originally came from. I haven't heard much about one Panther being more difficult than the other, but I'm sure others can chime in more on that.
