This isn't another question about his man parts lmao but today I noticed max keeps crawling to the bottom the the terrerium and he'll sit there or crawl on the screen st the bottom ? He'll go back up but steadily coming to the bottom his tail is straight not curled so is he just exploring or is something wrong is this normal for Jacksons ? I'm holding him now he seems fine I let him bathe

My mom's gecko had to have his amputated after he got amorous with his girlfriend. It wouldn't go back in and remained stuck despite warm soaks and covering it in honey. The correct term is a penectomy. The more you know. Lol

That is true. Rubbing honey on a gecko penis was a 1st for us and he wasn't happy about it either. He barked at us when he should've been thanking us. When it was still out in the morning he went to the vet for surgery. The things we do for our animals.

He probably wanted something like lotion and not sticky honey.

Honey has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It's a frequent treatment for a prolapsed hemipene. I'm sure soothing lotion would have felt better but I render penial medical services when needed not other lotion to penis services. Well, not on reptiles.
