Triton loves to get on my hand and fall asleep while I'm at my computer or watching TV at night. I've been typing for the last hour with my left hand even though I'm right handed...LOL! I had to take some pics because he looked so sweet...

you have to let them settle in his/her new home, plus you shouldn't be handling him/her alot.chameleons don't like to be handled at all.

my panthers enjoy being stroked under their chin stroke one way towards their tail mine like that and just sit with them and let them kno your not a "BIG PREDATOR" handle them a bit and get to your cham and let them get to kno you.....thats how i worked with mine try hand feeding and when you handle be in a quiet peaceful environment

Thats such a cute pic, I got my first cham 3 weeks ago an 11 month old male veiled, I hope one day he will be that relaxed with me! I doubt it LOL

Ya i am working on it ive just never though about getting him to sleep in my hand I never want to disturb him though so i havent tried. He recently started coming out of his cage and climbing up to my shoulder and I couldn't believe when he did it but I very happy about it so whenever I am in the room i just crack his cage door so he can come out and say hi.

Yeah, be careful. Let him settle in his new surroundings and after a few weeks, perhaps after hand feeding him so he can get used to you, try inviting him out. Hand feeding is a great way to bond.

Cute as it may be it is not "healthy" that your chameleons is falling asleep on you like that. They will often feign sleep when they are stressed to the max.
