Pics of our CH Nosy Falys boy

Black bars are the determining factor in real Nosy Faly... LOL!

They look 100% Faly to me. I dont know much I just brokered half of the 100% Faly breeders floating around here.

Comments on locale color developement and tendancies should weigh more coming from those experienced in raising the locale. Most Faly pictures on this site are either owners displaying their prized specimine or breeders selling the pics of the litter.

Grain of Salt Lee

I just noticed my wc Nosy faly boy Poseidon is pictured in you wc album on your wall he is picture number 5 :) that is awesome and he is still looking good man that is him pictured above with him hanging from my hand :)

Let it go, man. Do you own one of Lee's chams? All of your comments from the "peanut gallery" are not necessary.

All of the comments on here are positive and Lee has already stated that he'd fix it if there was in fact an error.

You can speculate and doubt all that you want, but please do it privately via PM with Lee.

Please stop trying to instigate crap and muddy up this thread. Lee has obviously done a fantastic job with his breeding and we should just sit back and admire the health and beauty of his work.

I don't know what your talking about! I simply expressed my opinion on the locale.
Here is a pic of a nosy be and to me it looks just like the ch. faly that Lee has done a great job on raising.
So take it as you want negative, positive or informative.

Feel free to tell me the difference between the two.

That's a good looking cham in that link I would like to know were she got that cham from..... I see what you are saying on the color but that Nosy be is lacking the yellow tenting on the rear legs and has no light shaded or white background color when fired up like my babies are showing and dose not have a white chin ........ I guess only time and raising them older will prove to YOU what locale they are but in my opinion they are showing ever trait that my wc falys are so I still am saying the look faly to me..... And a lot of people that have falys or have breed and raised faly cb and wc seem to agree with what I think..... All I can say man is if you don't think they look faly then just give it some more time and I will keep post up pics.

Yes keep this thread updated I am interested in seeing other males from this clutch as well.

question...

If my Nosy Be has a little yellow mixed with white on his back leg does that indicate that he may have some Faly in him? I've only been working with Chams about 7 months now and the small indications of locales can still escape me. Im not trying to contradict what anyones said, just a noob trying to educate myself more and more each day!!!

No I don't think so but you would just have to talk to the breeder you bought him from and see if maybe that could have happened....

No, Yellow in the body in general is more of a Be trait than a Faly trait.

Oh I was going to ask you when are you going to post pictures up of the ch babies you baught from chameleon nw ? I would like to see a pic thread on them or just a thread from you with some pics of them and how they are looking.

On the body yes sometimes but not just on the rear legs like I see in all wc falys. He was asking about the rear legs not the body color.

That's why there is so much disagreement in locale discussions, everything is open to interpretation. Did you see his Nosy Be thread? That guy is as 100% Nosy Be as I have seen. I also don't feel Nosy Faly have a yellow rear leg monopoly.

I havent but I will take a look soon. And until someone can send pics off the island of most of the falys not having yellow tented rear legs I think that is a good marker to look for because most that I have seen all have it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification on coloration and locale!!

Im sure my Male is Nosy Be, the sire and dam were both from site sponsors and i trust the breeder who told me he is Nosy Be.

These animals are so interesting! It seems like there is always something new to learn! I need to take a trip to madagascar some day and go snooping for Chams!!! :p

Maybe the chameleon, faly in the nosy be paint can.

Commenting as a outsider: One who doesn't breed Faly's

Those last pictures whould be more reppresentive of a chameleon showing the common Nosy Be color traits. Nosy Be's tend to have a few red dot from face fading to nothing the further back you go. With the most prized Nosy's having only a hand full of red specks. And the goal of the Faly trait, or color classification seems to be the red rain effect, with red dots over much of the head, body, and tail. Giving them the red, white and blue/or green) color traits. And I can spot a adult female faly a mile away. They have my vote as the prettiest female panthers around.

Be gentle with me. This is my first comment on this topic  may have to go into witness protected program.

Thank for your thoughts on this .... I guess I will just have to hold on to the rest until I can prove to the na sayers these are faly they still look faly to me ....I am comparing my baby to my wc and they look almost the same but the baby is still young and hasn't gotten his big boy colors yet....

Most of the people I talk to are either in other areas of the world that have been breeding falys way longer then us in the usa and people that will not join this this forum because of all the people that think they know more then the other or there stuff is better then everyone else's ...... I am starting to see why most of the breeders out there keep to there self.... there is just to much BS and people thinking they are better then everyone else and know better then everyone else out there.....

Man you all need to take a chill pill ...... I am done say what yall want do what yall want after all this I have experienced with the faly locale there is just to much BS and so called better people out there that know so much more ....... This was the worst choice of locale I could have ever picked.......... I love the way they look but I am feed up with the speculations..........

Amen brother as a fellow Texan and faly breeder whos actually produced cb babies that last statement sums it up. The BS runs off most of the best and exp'd keepers on the board. Ppl get tired of defending their lines & their name in the hobby/industry all the time.

I have females from their ch clutches so not much to see. If you check their website you will see the males showing classic faly traits.
