Pics of panther hybrids anyone????

Hey, I've been reading a lot about people cross-breeding panther chams (on this forum) lately, and I'd like to see a few pics.

So if you own one, please share your photos.

Also, if you could state what kind of 'mix' your cham is, that'd be awesome.

Thanks,

Steven.

Check out my avatar. His name is Frankie, I got him from the Kammers. He is a cross from the Dagnir line...

These animals are great in their own right, not sure what would drive you guys to cross breed them when they don't do so in nature, let not play mother nature! Keep the locals pure

exactly different locals, they don't come across each other in nature, keep them pure

I never said they shouldnt be mixed, so dont take what I say out of context. In the wild however it is possible to come up with mixed localites because some locale borders come into very close contact with each other.

This thread was not meant to be a debate on whether it is right or wrong, I simply asked to see pictures of hybridized panthers. So please, take your arguments somewhere else.

No offense to either party, but I don't see how this thread would encourage cross breeding locales. Hopefully, anyone who plans to breed already understands what the pros and cons are of crossbreeding. Let's see those crossbred pictures!

wow....

hostility....

suffice it to say the thread asked to see pictures of ppl that HAVE them...which, does not specifically encourage NEW breeding of crosses, only to see pictures of those that have already been bred.

i do agree that the thread was not a debate of right vs. wrong and responses are encouraged for free discussion and participation, so maybe suggestions of other threads could be stated more "suggestively".....

and as for crossings in nature...i've never lived in a tree in any of these places and can't testify to whether they do/would or do not/would not cross in nature. my guess is, as with any "animal", they have instincts to survive and if they came across one another in the wild, it's quite possible. my little min pin seems to be none so choosy in who he mounts based on breed or location, so it's just a guess that, nature takes it course regardless.....

:D

no, but the thread encourages people to cross locals

Thats not my intention, I dont breed and I dont know anyone (in real life) who does.

Im going to repeat myself and say this thread was not created for the sake of debating whether crossing locales is right or wrong. I was reading up on the subject and I wanted to see some examples. So if you want a debate, then by all means create a thread where you state why you think crossing locales is wrong.

No no no, please don't turn this into a debate thread. I've been wanting to start a cross-locale photo thread for some time and I'm personally excited to see the diversity out there from these mixings. Some were bred on purpose and some were accidental, but these are still people's (hopefully beloved) pets, so lets not start criticizing them please.

Here is my Daedalus, an Ambanja-Nosy Faly mix. He's 6 months old today.

I also have an Ambilobe that I don't believe to be full Ambilobe at all but I still think he's beautiful regardless. I don't want to offend anyone, but this is what I think in my limited locale experience. So I'll throw him in here just in case.
