for all of you Pixel lovers out there—
i pulled 4 males and 2 females into another cage a week or so ago as they are just rocketing in size. they're about 10 weeks now. the first one looks like he's just going to take all of the Mitsio that may be in Pix; dig those red eyes!:
this guy is the largest of the bunch, and then a few of his cagemates:
back in normal hatchling-land, there are still some tremendous size discrepancies (although these are two mixed clutches, same parents, different hatch dates). the larger one here isn't big enough to make the senior cage yet, and there's still the lil' wee ones in there:
i had taken Sambava Croton out who is just ridiculously muscled. he wasn't being very photogenic until i realized that he and Bacchus were giving each other the eye. but whereas Bacchus used to run and hide, no more! i turned around to find him in all of his glory, which is probably why Croton didn't even fire up; he just knew he couldn't compete!:
