Plant Sampling!

So I just walked in on my Panther chameleon, Diego, with a huge bit of decomposing leaf in his mouth. Im aware that Chameleons (especially juveniles) may sample their plants, but this was decomposing leaf.

When I walked in he looked extremely pissed off, and had probably been struggling with it in his mouth for a while. I carefully removed it. See attached image.

Looks like he may have consumed some of it. Should I worry?

What type of plant was it?

If I were you I would take him/her to a reptile doctor as soon as you can to make sure that there is nothing wrong with its health since that was leaf was in its mouth. Good luck
