Please Help 911 Issue.

I did not see the passing post. Sorry. A be loss is very hard, not that we don't all love our other chams. I still remember watching a female be crash within hour. Devastating it can be.

Oh Kevin I am so sorry! This is unbelievable... :( He was wonderful! Please take my honest condolenses! :( I followed your thread and it is shocking!

Oh man, sorry for your loss. That is brutal. It must be especially bad losing a cham that is so social since they seem so rare. I haven't kept any cages outside yet, but if I do at some point I guess I am going to have to be very careful.

Did you have a thermometer in the cage that tracks maximum temperatures? If so this could help confirm that it was heat.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It will be a while before I am over this one. Especially since I just built a HUGE custom enclosure for him in my new place and now it's just half empty.

I didn't have the thermometer in the cage since I was moving. But there was one outside and a slight breeze. I even asked my friend 3-4 times if he thought it was 81 just to agree with me and my phone and then therm and it was. So I Gave him the shower. Covered half of the top so he could have a shaded corner. Not to mention the middle of the cage had pleanty of thick cover for shade also.

I was always so careful with him. Just a shock.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

I'm so sorry! It could be he had some unknown issue going on and this particular event was too much. Maybe he did get hold of a toxic or stinging insect.

Im really very sorry to hear this.

It is obvious this animal mattered a lot to you and you did everything you could to help him.
