Hello and welcome 🙂
It’s hard to tell when they’re so little, but I think I see a slight bulge. So I’m guessing boy. Hopefully some other members could tell you otherwise.

Hey Beman- Great info. First time owner here and figuring things out. Also thanks everyone for looking at the pictures. Would love more opinion on the gender!

I highly recommend Chameleon academy for you to learn fast. Additionally he has podcasts on hatchlings which will be very important as their care is very specific and not exactly the same as adults or even 3 month old babies. I know you are very focused on gender but honestly you have a long road with this being your first chameleon and starting with a hatchling. These babies are extremely fragile and die easily. I would refrain from holding it right now as they are more susceptible to stress which can impact their ability to thrive. Also chameleons will leap out of hands to get away from humans. This can mean an extreme fall which can kill them. So if you take it out at all to take a look at its body condition etc sit on the floor. So if it leaps it is a very short fall. Per gender at this size with none of us being breeders you are going to get guesses on gender. Only an experienced breeder of Panther chams is going to be able to give you an accurate answer. You may be able to determine as baby gets a little more definition to the tail base. Use this link http://www.muchadoaboutchameleons.com/2013/04/male-or-female-how-to-sex-baby-panther.html
My guess for gender would be male. More of a straight line down the bottom of the tail base. BUT I am guessing.

There is an episode here for hatchling enclosure set up info. https://chameleonacademy.com/panther_chameleon_podcast/

There are 2 episodes here # 260 and 247 both on hatchling care. You have to search in the podcast player https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-academy-podcast-2021/

Full husbandry program that applies more to once baby gets to the 3-4 month mark but good to know as well https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/

Specific husbandry for panthers (keep in mind temps for your hatchling will not be the same) https://chameleonacademy.com/panther-chameleon-care/
