please,I need answers

Mohamed said..."My cage size is : 24"L , 24"W , 40"H.
How many watt of the 3 lights"...if you look at this site you will see that the number of watts increases with the length...and since your cage is 24" long, you will need a light that is that long. (Don't worry about the wattage of this tube light.) Its important that the chameleon can sit within 12 inches of this light in order for it to absorb the UVB. If you find the chameleon doesn't sit close enough to this light, then you may have to add another one in a different area of the cage or make some adjustment so that the chameleon can get the UVB it needs.

I use fixtures that hold two florescent bulbs similar to the ones shown in these sites...

http://royalpac.manufacturer.global...t/1003886373/Fluorescent-Lighting-Fixture.htm

I put one UVB bulb in and one regular florescent bulb in the fixture. (The wattage of the regular florescent doesn't really matter either...I just try to buy ones that say they give a good light.)

The incandescent bulb is intended to "imitate" the sun by providing heat and light. As I said before..."The wattage of the incandescent bulb depends on the heat it creates...I keep the basking area for babies in the low to mid 80's and for adults in the mid to high 80's or even into the low 90's at times."...so you need a bulb of a wattage that will produce those temperatures in the basking area. If this leaves the lower parts of the cage too cold, then you may need to add another incandescent light.

Are you going to be getting a young veiled or an adult?
Will it be WC (wild caught) or CB (bred in captivity)?

how old are you? you really need to pick up a chameleon book, or article on the net and read it! ive been skimming threw this thread and they are basic questions that can be found in almost any care sheet.

I'm not asking you the question , why are you skimming it , if you didn't like my question don't read it nobody told you to read it.

im just giving you my advice to read a few care sheets, i dont mean to sound mean but these are basic questions that a basic care sheet will answer. again with my question how old are you?

I think that the idea is to read up online about the requirements of your chameleon and then ask more specific questions here. Like if you have a certain setup or if your cham looks ill .... and so on. If the basic information was already obtained from the internet then we could focus on any special requirements that your cham would need. Just might save a bit of typing!! LOL

Good luck with your cham Mohammad and post some pics of him/her if you're able to. :)

P.S. You can sometimes find out the age of a member through their profile. ;)

Dyesub Dave. :D

Dyesub Dave i think you summed up my points exactly in a more nicer way, lol. well again sorry if i was sounding mean earlier mohaned, but good luck with your chameleon
