Portfolio update..

..I haven't been on the boards in over a week. I got laid off last Monday and I've been crazy busy since then, trying to get another job. ugh. What a week.

I'd been at my job for 9 years. I've never been unemployed before.

Anyhow.

I've updated my portfolio in my free time at home. Some new geckos and frogs and snakes up there. Sorry - no new chams!

You need to work for National Geographic as a photographer! Those 3 gold medal and the annual gold trophy supports that. Have you considered animal photography as a career? Are those snake neck turtles?

I've taken photog up as a hobby lately so I can appreciate the set up and process those pics took.

Sucks about the job, just some advise.. Keep yourself busy! Have things you need to or want to do! Don't dwell.

Thanks guys! I am keeping incredibly busy, I've had nearly an interview everyday. I've never been so busy actually.

spork - national geographic is much more journalisitc in style for their photos. An "in the field" kind of feel. I seem to be better at the studio shots. With that said I'd love to submit someday.
