My girlfriend was putting her chameleon to bed last night (he will come out of his cage, climb the blinds, and sit on the window frame) and to her surprise there was "something wrong with his butt". She sent me this picture (attached) and I've been trying to get into this forum ever since, but JUST discovered the confirmation email in the junk box. Prometheus is a veiled, almost two years old and approximately 17in. long with tail. He eats between 6-8 large crickets daily, but will often skip a day of eating if he wants to be out of the cage. He's a picky eater, and doesn't like any other proteins. Every other meal, the crickets are coated with ZooMed's reptivite reptile vitamins with D3. I'm waiting for more information from her and Prometheus, and as I get more information about him I'll update this post. She has been misting him 5 times a day since noticing the prolapsed area. He is still active and traveling inside and outside of his cage. We had difficulty making a vet trip work today with professional schedules, but he will be going tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
