Possible shampoo ingestion? Please help I'm freaking out

Hi all,
so it's 3 a.m. and I just realized 2 things: 1 - I became addicted to posting on this forum every time I feel uncertain, and 2 - I am extremely paranoid and have great talent in imagining all kinds of horrible outcomes.
So, this just happened: I was transporting crickets from the small plastic box in which they are sold in the shop to the bigger container I use for them. The opening at the top is quite narrow and I kind of have to shake the crickets in it, and sometimes a couple escapes, therefore I keep the container in the bathtub during this process so the escapees can't run too far. As usual, a couple of crickets fell in the tub and I quickly picked them up and put into the container, only to realize a few seconds later that I was washing my hair earlier and there was still some soapy water at the bottom, like, the crickets didn't swim in it, but it was moist. Now I am afraid that the chameleon might eat a "soapy" cricket in the morning and get poisoned or something. Would the shampoo soak in the cricket somehow? Like I said, they were not all covered in shampoo, just walked on moist soapy bathtub floor for a second. Should I throw the whole batch away and get new ones, or am I just overly paranoid? Please, any sort of advice would be much appreciated...

Since chams are cold blooded they don't use a lot of energy. Most of it is for growing at young ages, (hence so many overweight adult chams) so I'd certainly feed him later with fresh crickets,(especially if he's young). Just don't feed him before he goes to bed, it hurts their digestion

Ok, thank you! I turn his lights off around 10 so I guess if he eats at 3-4 pm it's ok? Jesus. I'm so stupid - it took me half a day to find those crickets because all the shops in my area ran out of them... Bought an extra big batch too :D Oh well...

Oh yeah that's fine for sure. Its always good to know people care about their chams, so never hesitate to ask anyone around here for some help.

Good to know, and thank you for the reassurance :) Since we are at it.. I am a bit confused with the feeding: so now I feed him 15-20 dusted crickets daily, because I read that they should eat as much as they want when they are young and he seems to have good appetite. When exactly should I reduce his diet? Just start feeding him once in 2 days and smaller amounts right after he turns 1 year or do it gradually somehow?

Haha, I myself am a newer owner, so hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. But when they stop growing is when I'd start feeding them a set amount. ( adult veiled usually weighs 100-200 grams and females 90-120 )With Yoyo, my 5ish month old male Cham, I always give him as much as he can eat with calcium (no d3) and with d3 and a vitiamin supp every other two weeks.

Got it. I've been giving him calcium every day and vitamin with D3 once a week.. But will reduce it to every 2 weeks then. Thank you so much <3 now I can go to sleep at peace

hope so :) it's my first reptile so I'm being overly careful and paranoid..but maybe sometimes it's a good thing. I'm sure yours will do great too :)
