Post your Female Veileds! Show the colors!

So there's been some talk recently on this forum that Female Veiled Chameleons are only solid green, and are not as pretty as the males.

Some people wanted to know if some blood lines produce more colorful females.

Well, here is proof that Female veileds are just as pretty as the males.

So for those of you on here who have female veileds, post your photos of them here, to show everyone that the girls are just as pretty.

This is Lily, my approximately 1 year 3 month old female veiled.

She has laid one fertile clutch of 38 eggs back in April.

ANd I believe she is gravid again.

Sadly, both my girls are no longer here but they had some colour too! I really love the girlies! They are just as wonderful as the boys!

Cool pic! What camera did you use for the close up?

Thanks! I use a Samsung PL50. I took the pic with the macro setting and then zoomed in and cropped before uploading it to the computer! I love macro!

I agree! I want to see more pretty girls! and Sadie is one of theeee prettiest I have ever seen!!!!!

Dont get me wrong.. my male is amazing..... but i love how blue/teal my Lily gets.

I love the blues too! It was amazing watching her that few days when she started to get brownish patches, then they went orange, then the blues started!

Girls are different, but just as pretty as the males and they don't have a HUGE cone head lol!

i like the tall casques, but if a girl had a tall casque wiht the smaller body.. im not so sure..

i love when my girl shows her gravid colors. the blues are electric!
