We are at the vet. Pascal is about to get an x-ray. Prayers please. They are worried about liver and kidney disease.

Update again...so we did an enema and a light soak for about 15 minutes while still at vets this am. I then brought him home and he was put on cisapride orally once a day. He got his meds. As of an hour ago still no poop. My gut is telling me there is something else going on here, but I just don't know what. If he doesn't poop by Monday, I will call the vet back. The x-rays showed that his bone density looks great. Anyone have any other thoughts/ideas??

They are extremely knowledgeable with chameleons, I can try to get a copy of the X-ray, but it won't be till tomorrow. I am freaking out because this morning after his light came on his back feet where just hanging on the branch. He has never ever done that before. He didn't even do that yesterday. I tried getting a couple of photos. I am kinda freaking out a little bit. I also got a video. I will try to upload both. It was like he didn't know where to place his back feet. The video won't let me upload it...says too large???

Spoke to my vet. She thinks the fecal impaction is pushing on his sighatic nerve, and causing him to have this issue. I will test his grip strength once my baby takes a nap and also soak him again to see if he will poop. Also my vet is on stand by if he gets any worse.

Oh my...where in the world did auto correct come upstairs with that??? It was supposed to be sciatic nerve..
Upstairs? Lol. The grip on the branches look ok to me, from the pics. Sometimes, when Echo is really relaxed, he'll let a whole darn leg dangle! As long as he grips it again, after seeing you, i wouldn't be too worried. As far as the constipation, what are you feeding him? And what are you gut loading with? You need to increase his fiber and moisture intake.

Omg, I hate autocorrect... anyways.
His grip is definitely not the same as yesterday. It is for sure weaker. This is the first time I have ever seen him do this. Before I got him his previous owner only fed him crickets. Like I said originally, he never has been a good pooper. He would only go about every week or two. After I got him, I started feeding him a variety. He ate crickets, superworms, silkworms, butterworms, Dubia, and wax worms every once in a while. Now all he will eat is crickets every once in a while or a few superworms. He won't touch horn worms or roaches at all anymore. He actually acts terrified of horn worms. I supplement with Repshay Calcium Plus at every meal. On the 1st and 15th of the month he gets calcium with D3 and his multi vitamin. As for gutloads, they get cricket crack. I do I increase fiber? I have upped his misting and we have soaked him or my vet. Thanks for all the help

How old is he and how much natural sunlight is he receiving? Maybe some time in the natural sun might help with his digestion.

Pictures as of a half hour ago. He is going back to the vet in the am.

He is a year and a half and had only been outside with me once. I will try to get him out more.
Do you supplement with Vit A? My guy was a lot like yours and when I took the advice from @jajeanpierre about Vit A deficiencies. I supplement twice a month now. He poops more often, eats more, more active, shedding better, isn't scratching his eyes like he use too. I do have issues with my guy and pooping. But he seems to go at least 2 times a week now. His appetite and shedding are the biggest changes I have seen. And Buddy def hangs his legs while he is basking. I don't think it's an abnormal thing. Try getting out into natural sun like the other person suggested. Basking in some heat should help aid in digestion. My guy absolutely loves basking outside.

The silkies really help with pooping. And maybe try gutloading something with sweet potatoe. That will help get some fiber in his system
Hi their you could try retinyl palmitate. Pick up at pharmacy it's a Capsule . Pinch a hole and put one drop on the back of a feeder . I use for all my babies and I have seen big changes . Especially in our Frances . Hope this help . Best of luck .
