Prayers for Pascal

Update again...so we did an enema and a light soak for about 15 minutes while still at vets this am. I then brought him home and he was put on cisapride orally once a day. He got his meds. As of an hour ago still no poop. My gut is telling me there is something else going on here, but I just don't know what. If he doesn't poop by Monday, I will call the vet back. The x-rays showed that his bone density looks great. Anyone have any other thoughts/ideas??
Has he been eating normally

Something's definitely up. I just don't know what. You can also give your crickets some dark leafy greens for fiber. They will devoir it and it will also increase the moisture content in their bodies. When's the last time you changed out your UVB bulb? Maybe this is some MBD, from insufficient UVB? Either way, natural sunlight is always best. Keep us posted on your vet's findings!

Yeah, I completely agree something is going on. He still hasn't pooped with two enemas. I am starting to feel like there is something more serious going on. I will try to gutload the crickets with the dark leafy greens. His UVB is only 4 months old. I will definitely work on getting him outside more. I am so worried about him.

Depending on the bulb, 4 months may be the end of it's useful life. Try swapping that out, too. And I would definitely say, a vet visit is in order.

I can absolutely change the bulb. As stated in my previous posts, the vet did an x-ray first and said his bone density looks great and that she didn't think it was a kidney and liver issue yet. She thought it was a fecal impaction issue. The whole leg thing she thought was pressure from his poop moving down on his sciatic nerve. They have him on cisapride and metacam. He still hasn't pooped as of today, but he seems in better spirits today.

I also forgot to mention that she hasn't done any blood tests, but that will be next on the list if he doesn't start improving soon. Thanks for all the help and support on guys. I do appreciate it.

What about a good long shower? (I know that works for me! ;)) Maybe he'll go on a plant leaf in the shower.
