I use the zoomed reptibator. It's simple and I've had success with them. They come with a foam bottom that holds moisture and keeps the humidity high. I currently own five of them and I never had any issues with them.
You are talking about this one correct?

If you are looking for something to cool, AND heat....

If that doesnt suit your needs, check out the others.
The way I see it, you get what you pay for with incubators. If your temps remain steady in your house, your probably better off just using the closet method than buying a cheapo...
Now I have heard of those incubators working great for a lot of people, But I have also heard of a lot of failures.
And failures can surely lead to lost $$$, or your only 5 eggs from a deceased female, etc... You get the idea... This is jmo.
The Avey incubator is awesome. I have had one for close to a year and its temperature swing is only .2 of a degree of the desired temperature.
This is an excellent incubator especially if your house is too warm in the summertime for cham eggs.
You see that folks
I'm glad to hear that Lance!
It cost so much though, and I like to break diapause then bring the temp up so I would need like three of those incubators lol because I always have multiple clutches so i couldn't have all the eggs hatched at different times all st the same temp. Wow chameleon problems are so lame.
Those are some nice looking incubators though.
That is true, but you could also remove eggs after X months to a warmer area. Set it to a bit cooler than you normally would keep them.
I have also heard of people converting wine coolers into incubators as well, not sure how well that worked out though. But they are generally larger than most incubators allowing you to hold probably double the eggs.
