Pregnant Chameleon???

Yeah it's covered with a blanket I'm just worried because I read it's 20 to 30 days to lay the eggs and from the math I've done seems like today is the 28th day I got her last Saturday and she was with a male 2 weeks before I got her I don't want her to become egg bound

I’m by no means very knowledgable or experienced. I only can go by what I’ve learned here and my one experience with laying. My girl started digging in one of her tiny plant pots. I don’t recall the time frame but it was at least one day later that she found her bin and started her process. Your girl may be scoping out her options on where she thinks the best place to lay is. Hopefully some of the experienced members will offer their knowledge.

Egg Binding issues can arise from improperly laying -- but also egg binding issues step from improper egg development and improper husbandry. The time frames for production can vary as they do in human females for a variety of different reasons. If you are very concerned you can take her to the vet and have an x-ray performed on her to see what stage she is at and if there is concern enough to remove surgically.

@kinyonga @jannb can you weigh in on the timing of egg development and at what time frame the OP should consider a vet trip?

@Brodybreaux25 At top of cage ate 4 crickets and one superworm today not sleeping during day and yes she is drinking today is her 29th day still no interest in digging cage is covered on 3 sides with blanket

Still no eggs. Today is 30 days she hasn't even been in the laybin. I did get my Repashy calcium plus lod today and bought all the stuff for the eggs.

I know that last time she laid 40 eggs and only 20 of them hatched and she said they were healthy I've tried to message her multiple times and she won't answer my questions I just took these pictures

The shape of her stomach is bothering me...it almost looks like it's full of fluid and not eggs. If she shows no signs of digging in the next few days I think there will be no choice but to go to a vet...and I hate to have to take one to the vets when it's possible it might lay soon.
