Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

Couldn't find her this morning.
So cute! She's never been up in those yet. They're fake flowers I pinned into the styrofoam a few days ago

And she's asleep in the pothos.
She loves that pothos. As soon as I get her near the plant her little arms reach out as far as she can to grab it.

I'll watch for any fake plant nibbling. So far I haven't seen her nibble any plants, but I can remove the fake if it becomes trouble.

She also pooped on the edge of her cricket cup. Luckily it was a two pack so I swapped them out to clean it up!

They sleep so funny . Have you snuck roach in yet ?

I use a half gallon compressed mister, and saturate the plants. How would you recommend heating the water up? I could soak it in hot water before hand but that would turn misting into quite the process.

I've only seen her drinking once, but that doesn't mean she doesn't any other time

Are you using tap or distilled water ? Often one does not see there chameleon drink . With your little girl she does not seem shy . She will eat in front of you so I would think she would drink to .

It's treated tap water, same stuff used to make water safe for fish and frogs. I use the same mister for the Pacman frog and he needs water to be treated since his skin would absorb the chemicals in tap

Ok same as I use . Mine is attached to my faucet so I can run any temp . Can you do same or do you have to fill it then it runs through a filter ?

I'd have to fill and add the conditioner
Maybe if you do that for 2 of her watering I know it will take a bit longer . I also have a Mister it go's off 8 time through the day . I keep a fish tank heater in the Bucket . Frances will do the same if the water is cold she will run from it . She also seems to like hand misting better . She almost seems shocked sometimes when her Mister Go's off .
