Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

I'll try and figure something out.
I can snug it up against my Pacman frog enclosure. He has a small UTH stuck to the side for basically no reason. I can put the water against that inbetween mistings to keep it toasty

That's perfect. If you spray your hand and it's nice and warm she probably will be good with that . The other thing you can try is showing her . Is the patho she loves movable ?

Yes and no. It's in a hanging basket, but its vines are wrapped around the curtain rod.
I can look into getting another plant for the purpose of showers. Is she too young for that or is she OK?

As long as she can grip good to plant , bounce water off the wall and stay with her . Some time little ones need longer misting sessions too encourage a good drink . Or when you mist her put a timer on so you know it's 4 or 5 min . In the shower you can do like 20 min . As long as she's not stressed .

I'm actually at work but will be running home to check on her during lunch.

I kicked her lights on early (set them from 6-6 instead of 8-8) and just saturated the plants. She seemed less upset by the mister this time and looked like she was on a water licking voyage before I left for work. She had the look on her face like I caught her doing something naughty and she was mid-stepping into her plants which I'm hoping was for a drink.

Their for funny about privacy in drinking . Sorry to bother you at work  .

It's all good, I make a bad habit of monitoring my forums most while at work.
Don't tell my boss.
She got up to about 70% humidity during the misting this morning but I was hoping that would help encourage her to go drink

I swear they inhale the moisture . You might need to do a few really long sessions 20 or 30 min to get her going .

Good to know - I tried dripping droplets on her little nose but clearly they do not react in the same way that bearded dragons do..
It's supposed to rain heavy the next few days and be HOT. I may try and take her out inbetween rainings and see if she'll lick off the baby tree I have out there

Excellent and natural UVB is excellent for her .

I checked on her at lunch - she seems to be her normal little self. Can't tell if she looks any more hydrated but she looked good!
Her crickets were all gone, so I put one small one in her dish and will likely run to the store and get her more after work.

I saturated her enclosure again and she walked around during. Didn't see her drinking, but there were droplets literally everywhere so here's hoping!

Excellent

Ok so I sprayed down everything again once home. She refuses to drink anything even though water was everywhere. Took some shots just to monitor her health

I stand and most for maybe a minute straight, enough to make everything in the enclosure dripping wet and then some. She walked right into the mist in one of the photos (3)
