Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

Thank you for the well wishes!
Great news is this morning she FINALLY was drinking from the misting. She didn't run, just sat with her eyes closed, licking her lips. This is different from her usual mouth opening she's done, as the mouth opening seemed more like the irritated response.
Lately she had been sitting and tucking her head down, finally got a drinking response from her

Yay Mamool wonderful .

At the vets
She's dehydrated and being prescribed an antibiotic. She's borrowing her for now to inject some fluid in for her to absorb throughout the day.
She said her mouth isn't terribly gooey, but her saliva is very thick

Her lungs sound good still ? Will she keep her over night ? Or will she go home ?

Oral, .04ml clindamycin

The darkened side is the side that got the injection

Sorry for the late response, I got pretty preoccupied once home.
Her only comment on her eyes was asking what the shiny stuff was, which was eye lubricant residue, and stating that her right eye still was a bit puffy. Other than that, no prescription or real talk of her eyes.

Mamools meds are twice a day for one week. She got the first dose administered at the vet.

I don't have a picture of it, but I won a small desk fan at work a few months back, and I decided to hook it up for Mamool. I have it on top of the enclosure pointing downward at an angle. Will the forced air circulation benefit her? It's one setting and it's a very low speed

You don't want a draft or anything that is cold . Especially now . It can cause URI and she already has one . How was she with taking her meds ?

Good to know about the draft.

The vet assistant did the administering and it went fine, but some was left in the syringe and she lock jawwed after that and refused to open

The bruise looks nasty but is rather normal, I am guessing it's so bad on her because she's so small and they gave a large amount of fluids for her size. etc. The fluids will help a lot. She is likely dehydrated because of the slight URI, it's just like us when we get a cold, it's hard for us to stay hydrated enough even when drinking twice the normal amount.

She definitely looks upset doesn't she <3 that's a good sign, honestly fighting is more of a sign of a healthy cham than just sitting there letting you do it when they are usually a sassy cham. It's good that her URI isn't that bad, yet. It means treating it will hopefully be easier. It's going to be pain the next few days getting her meds in can guarantee that 100%. And you have to make sure she is drinking well. Provide her with a dripper 12 hours a day while she is up. Make the drip slightly slower than usual if you can. And mist. If she is doing well with showers then take her in again. You are doing so well by her.

And yeah the eye lube leaves an annoying film afterward, but in my opinion it means there is almost always some moving in while it's there.
