Nosy Be

Very Nice!! I do not have a Chili baby, but have a Ulrezaj baby. Can't wait for mine to get bigger! How is his tempermant?

Nice - Ulrezaj is great looking. Would love to see a pic of your baby.

Temperament - He is friendly, but was cautious and didn't want to be handled my first 6 weeks of owning him so I never pushed it. I started hand feeding slowly, dripping water lots on leaves so he'd come over and drink and I would pet him a bit while he was in his cage. He is getting quite used to me already.

Actually had him out for the FIRST time yesterday and he didn't hiss or bite. I held a branch into his cage and he climbed up and out sooo fast. LOL He just climbed all over my hands and arms... I put him back after a few minutes. He is def. a great cham, who I really am enjoying!!!

I will try again... This picture really shows the reds I am referencing below.

One more....He has some red around his eyes and on his side. I am not sure how he will look once he gets into his adult coloration. Have any of you seen this before on a Nosy Be?

Thanks

Wow he is real nice looking. How is his temperament? When did you get him? I have seen some with the red around the eye. Im told they get their full coloration at 18 months or so. Mine changes cool colors everyday. So cool to watch!

Thanks! his tempermant is on par with most panthers. He dosn't like when I take him out, but usually settles down after a bit. He has only hissed at me when I tried to hand feed him a Dubia. I think he was unsure what I had in my hand, but since then he has not taken anything from my hands. Its a work in progress. I recently say a post on FB from Kammer showing a Nosy Be sired by Chili they sold over the weekend. And wow, he is really showing color and he is only 3 months old! I would have had a super hard time deciding if they presented that one to me when I made my purchase :) I am also excited to see what my little guy is going to bring to the table. I dont know for sure because he has light blue under his spine and crystal blue in his mid section. Only time will tell :D
