Proper weight on Oustalet's

Hello everyone, quick question here. My just over a year old Oustalet's chameleon weights just about 160 grams, and his total length is 18 inches (snout to vent length about 8 inches) My original question is would this be the appropriate size and weight of this certain species or should he be larger? I haven't work with furcifer before and am a little out of my comfort zone. Thanks again.

These big species don't quite finish growing for at least 2 years, if not longer, so don't be surprised if he continues to fill in a little. It seems like he has room to fill in so he may end up heavier after all.

It's like if you've ever had a bigger dog - by 1 they are pretty much at their full size height-wise but they continue to fill out and get their adult muscularture and girth over the following 6 months to a year.

Thank you so much for your advice. I've checked your blog out - wow! That's all I can say. It's amazing. Thank you so much for taking the time to put your experience down on the net. I greatly will appreciate it lol
