Thanks, yes I have to be very careful, I have to wear a mask with filter when cleaning out bins, also open all the windows. I also like your bin idea that is what my GBR are in, and it does stay nice and moist!

Snails I keep open because they regulate their own moisture levels pretty well as long as heavily misted once a day and have moist soil/food, or you offer them a dish of water with moist soil and mist on occasion. I didn't have a mesh lid made for the tank I currently have my group in since I just put them in a 5 gallon. They currently don't need larger and are easier to keep moist in this, so I made the lid out of bent and zip tired galvanized wire, I use it all the time for making lids for my reptiles and my hamster bins.

Thanks for all the great info! I am going to keep them where they are for now and see how it goes, if it doesn't work next cleaning I will try something new!
