iam planning to put my 2yr old vield male Loki next to my really young jacksons cham to use a single 48" uvb bulb and run one large fogger for the 2 chams should i place something between the 2 screen enclosures or will they be fine?

Watch to see how they react to each other, my male ambilobe hates my panther female , the second he sees her he tries to get at her, so I put a wood board to seperate them. All depends on the chameleon. Good luck :D

You should separate them with a divider to eliminate unneeded stress. No need to worry about your Cham being lonely, chameleons are solitary animals and prefer to be alone. The goal of proper husbandry is to eliminate as much stress as possible and to promote the best health possible for longevity in captivity. A simple cheap plastic board, or draped towel will be greatly appreciated by your Chams. Male Chams are very territorial and can even cause stress to another Cham from across a room.

I agree 100%.

I must say: Indeed.

I've successfully done this with my two males. All it takes is a towel on one side of one of the cages so that they cant see each other and they're fine. :) If they see each other it stresses them out and can put a toll on their body in the long run, especially if they're left like that for a while.

Veileds are usually very territorial and aggressive, so I would keep them separate and not even allow them to see each other.

This. Most Chams, especially veilds, don't like the company of other Cham. :D

Super easy fix! Just cut a piece of shower curtain liner to place between the two cages,..... They'll never know the other is there..

i know they are solitary animals iam not planning to do this because they "seem lonely" iam planning to do so so i can free up another outlet in my reptile room by using one fogger and one uvb light as well it allows me to open more space in the room. the problem with a divider between the 2 is that the jacksons tank is already in a corner so less ventalation as it is.
