Pygmy Tank one month later....

Looks great Brian!!! What are all the plants in there??? Do you plan on digging any eggs up or just letting them incubate in the soil?

Wow. Love it! What kind of lights are you growing the plants under? And I would also like to know what kind of plants are there. It looks awesome!

Brian that is a fantastic tank. I never did see any pgymy's. Are you sure they are still in the tank? There are a lot of Brev's out there right now, maybe 2 or 3 more for Christmas? You know she would love it. That heavily planted, I am sure you could add a couple.

The big one in the back right is a Fukein Tea bonsai, center back is ficus benjamina, back left is a texas ebony. I have a couple arcadia, another texas ebony, and some other small bushy ones that I dont know the names of. The front center is a Jaboticaba.

Laurie, you can see one in the middle toward the front/bottom and the other 2 are back left and right up near the top. I could probably use a another male because I think we ended up with 3 females. I might hit up ataraxia and see if he still has some CB. The 4th was a temporalis and she is in my other tank by herself and doing really well in the cooler temps.

@Al, I plan to let them hatch in there if I am luck enough to get some fertile eggs going. I would not have the patience to dig all that up in search of pea sized eggs, lol

@Kychemnerd, nice to see another texan on here. The lights are 2- 12x12 LED blue/white grow lights with an 18" 5.0 UVB reptisun in the back. Its a little blue in there but the plants seem to be doing really well under those lights.

Thanks all!

Yes. I built the glass tank originally for a beardy but moved her to a larger tank shortly after making that one around 10 years ago. I have the original tank pics and progress pics on the Facebook link in my signature.
Btw, I grew up in southgate mi. I saw the 734 in your name and figured you were somewhere near Detroit.

That looks really great! It has filled in beautifully and is a great representation of what I'd think the forest floor looks like. I bet they feel right at home! :)

awesome video, the music goes perfect with the scenery... if you took a picture so that none of the cage showed in the frame it would look like a place in the forest! so peaceful, i wanna hang a hammock and take a nap in there myself!

Great set-up! Nicely done!!

Thanks guys! The pygs are still kicking and seem to be thriving in there. Need to get a male Brev to go with my 3 girls.
