Hi guys! I have a 4 month old ambilobe panther. His temps range between 73 at the bottom with 61% humidity and 82 under his basking light with 51% humidity. Is this an ok temp for basking? I am using a 60 watt soft white bulb that is about 6 inches from the fixture... He seems
to be doing well. I have had him for 5 days and he is eating around 15 crickets a day, 2-3 super worms and drinking like a champ'

my guy is also 4 months old. i think general rule of thumb most people follow is 80-82 for 2-3months than increase 1degree a month until 85/86. some panthers bask high 80s some even low 90s think after about 8months of so will be dependent on what your guys likes best and does best with

Thank you! Do I increase the bulb wattage to achieve higher temps?

you said its 6 inches away from the fixture? if he cant climb upside down from the top could you lower the fixture a bit? see what you get with doing that otherwise try an increase. could move your basking branch up as well. OR if you change wattage and its too hot lower basking branch

I feel like he is ok since he is eating and pooping and not hanging from the top... I'll just leave him alone for now! :) thank you guys.
