question about eyes

I noticed this morning that the eyes on my female Veiled are looking a little enlarged towards the front. Is it normal for there to be an awkward growing stage for chams? Maybe including odd eye growth? Or is this some swelling that I need to be concerned about?
She is in a 16x16x30 mesh cage. Reptisun 5.0 for her UV and a 60 watt bulb for heat (going off breeder's recommendation). The plants in her enclosure are ficus, except for a couple of fake vines, and some big pieces of wood. Her diet consists mostly of crickets. It's really hard to get much other than that at the pet stores around here. I dust them with Reptocal every other day, and I add Herptivite to that ever few days. I make sure to spray her plants with water a couple times a day.
Stools and urate have all looked normal, and she has been eating fine.
She did have a very weird tongue incident the other day though. Her entire tongue was stuck outside of her mouth. She could not pull it in for several minutes, but after she did, it worked fine, and has been working fine ever since.
Her eyes looked fine last night, so I'm not really too sure what's going on.
Thanks for the help!

Do you use reptical with vitamin D?

without?

I do hope its the linear reptisun and not the compact florescent

Pictures speak a thousand words!

while it may not affect this particular situation, what is the basking temp? wattage is a good start, actual temperature would be better.

It is the Reptical with D3. I need to get some without. It is definitely the linear Reptisun. The light is 60 watts. I'm not sure of the temp. I will be going out to get a thermometer later today to montior temperature.

I think I know what you are talking about and this looks different to me. I'd consult a vet, I know there are a couple that browse these forums, but I haven't seen it before (I'm pretty unexperienced)

My guy does this weird eye buldgy thing to get water out of his eyes when i mist the cage.

Get that veiled to a vet she may be vit. A deficient. I adopted a male who had something similar and he had to have a vit A shot and antibiotics also.

update

she has also taken on a bit of a mean attitude when approached. normally, i can just reach into her cage and she will climb onto my hand. now, she backs up, puffs up, and opens her mouth.

update 2

her eyes have returned to normal. i'm not too sure what happened to make her eyes swell or return to normal. i'm glad they have normalized though. i did some research around the internet, and it sounds as though it could have also been caused by the ficus in her cage if she happened to rub up against a broken leaf or branch.
i will be removing the ficus soon, mostly because it is dying :/ and i don't want to risk another mishap like today (if that was indeed the case). i would like to replace it with a schefflera. i just put two of them in two other enclosures that i have, and i absolutely love them.
thanks for everyone's help :)

update 3

well, her eyes have started bulging again. i'm taking her to the vet tomorrow to find out the cause, and come up with a solution.

I think your ficus hypothesis is valid. They do give of sap when the branches or leaves are broken (or munched on) have you tried a good misting? If it is sap maybe that will help. Cant go wrong with heading to the vet tho. (I would)

i have misted her cage (and her body) several times since the incident, and i have yet to see it happen again.
i tried taking her to the vet earlier today, but all she did was run and hiss, so i decided it was best not to stress her anymore today. i shall take her on another day. she has been eating and behaving fine otherwise, so the concern isn't too terribly high. i just watched her snatch a cricket as i type this. lol.
