Question about Tobramycin

My chameleon seems to have shed in his eye sometime between friday night and saturday. I went to the vet yesterday afternoon affter work, and he gave me Tobramycin to put in his eye 2 times a day for 10 days. He doesnt seem to want to open his eye right now.

ive been putting a drop right on the eye slot and letting it sit there hoping some of it will seep though his eye lid gap. After a bit i touch it to spread it over the surface of the eye lid.

is this good enough?

how would you get the little guy to open his eye?

Tobramycin ointment work wayyyyy better :\ try to spray warm water (warm-cold , nor warm-hot) to the eyes for long time (sometimes eyes are stuck together.. you have too clean it before) if its possible for you to get some help, wrap your chameleon in a towel and ask the other person to hold him. them open the eyes with your both hands (fingers) and put the drop inside
