Quick question about chameleon sleeping while lights are on.

My Jackson does this! I call him the sleepy head becuase he is always the first one to start falling asleep at night, usually right before his light goes out. Sometimes I think he does it on purpose when he is on his free range ... I think he thinks I will leave him there all night... think again little man hehe :D

Edit: to his defense he is usually the first one up in the morning too lol

Ha, maybe its a jackson thing. We call Rex the old man because he goes to bed early and gets up early (and tends to act like a grumpy old man). And yes, he too goes to bed a little earlier when he is in his free range hoping to sleep there, but he does get to sleep there most nights so I guess it works. LOL.

I thought about leaving him there last night becuase he gets grumpy when I try to get him back in his cage late - kung foo grip that boy has! I worry he will get away ... maybe one day I will work up the courage to leave him.

Our boys have their own bed room, so I can just close the door and know there isn't much trouble they can get in to in there. Just have to be careful when opening the door.....George has been known to walk around on the floor.

The seasons are changing, you said its getting colder where you live? no doubt getting darker earlier too, hes just getting ready for winter. hes probably up an hour earlier aswell

I had a similar situation with one of my guys and started covering his cage at night-I think car lights were coming though the screens on the window and waking him up at night - he still puts his pajama's on and gets ready for bed about 1/2 hour before lights off - but he keeps his eyes open till the lights turn out.

LOL, :D laughed out loud when I read this. I was at work....

Funny how I instantly knew your meaning. :p Thanks for the good laugh.
