R.I.P. Beezer (10/3/2011 - 10/15/2012)

After treating Beezer for the last 7 days for a RI, he took a turn for the worse today. Rushed him to the vet, but he was too weak, and it was too late. Our family is completely devastated, and it will be a long time before we fully recover. He was an amazing panther chameleon, and his passing has left a hole in my heart. Tomorrow just won't be the same waking up and not seeing him climb to the front of his cage to say hello. Rest in peace my beloved friend. You will be truly missed.

Sorry to hear the bad news, my condolences go out to you and your family...

Atleast you can say you did the best you could, even rushed him to the vet. Glad there are people like you and me out there. I know it may take awhile to get over it, i'm currently on the edge with my chameleon just praying he gets better aswell. Takes allot of time, patience and heart to take care of a sick chameleon. It's not an easy thing to go through. So my hat goes off to you and your family.

Beezer looked like an amazing chameleon, I'm sure he'll always have a place in your guy's heart!

I have been lurking these forums for awhile, and have never posted. Always just got valuable information from the great people here. Any specific questions, I would usually ask the breeder directly. Thank you all for the kind words. I just hope I stop crying soon.

He was a beautiful chameleon and I am so sorry his time with you was so short. I am sorry too that your very first post was to inform us of his passing. I am sure he had a wonderful life with you.

I gotta say...the worst part was hearing our youngest son (8) in the shower tonight crying and begging God to bring Beezer back to us. Breaks our hearts. Beezer was such a special guy. My wife and I are trying to keep the kids focused on the good memories, but I'm sure it doesn't help with us bawling like babies. The house just doesn't feel the same with the big empty 24" x 24" x 48" cage in it. I am really grateful to this wonderful community and the kindness shown to us. It picks up our spirits a little during this difficult time.

Thank you EVERYONE! This is such an awesome community! We are getting better, but the emptiness in the house will remain for some time. The kids are already looking forward to the next baby chameleon. Thank you again for being awesome!
