Feeding - Crickets, Superworms and Mealworms are the staple. Occasionaly grasshoppers. 12-15 crix, 8 supers, 10-12 mealworms. Fed every other day/ every 3 days depending on what was fed previously. Gutloaded w/ Fluckers cricket food & water, all types of greens and carrots.
Supplements - Exo Terra Calcium every feeding. Multi Vitamins and Calcium w/ D3 twice a month.
Watering - Mist King System, Mist 3 times a day for 45 seconds each. Usually, but I haven't in the past few days.

Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? No.
History - Dont think there's anything else.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - 4x4x2 screen cage
Lighting - Repti Glo 5.0 UVB, 40 watt basking light bulb. Both lights are on a 12 hour schedule. 630 am to 630 pm
Temperature - Day varies between 75-82 degrees, night is low 70's to high 60's. not sure of the basking light temp. useing a thermometer from walmart to measure the temps.
Humidity - 30-50%, usually its around 40. the mister creates the humidity, the humidity doesnt like to stay. Useing a humidity measure thing thats on the same thing as the thermometer.
Plants - Are you using live plants? Scheflerra and a Ficus tree
Placement - Where is your cage located? In my room, next to a window. 2 1/2 feet of the ground
Location - Gilbert, Arizona

Current Problem - Rango has been acting lethargic and sleepy lately. He doesn't want to really move around. Yesterday I found him sleeping at the bottom of the cage which is unusual for him to be down there and it was also 3 o clock in the after noon, he normally goes to sleep at around 615 pm. Today, I went to check on him and he was completely passed out at the bottom of the cage just laying there - almost like he was dead. I picked him up and took him outside and misted him and it seemed to have perked him up a bit. His eyes were also really sunken in. He just seems so tired and lazy. He also is moving extremely slow and his grip is not nearly as strong as it was 1 week ago.

If you have not been misting in the past few days, maybe your cham is dehydrated? That could cause the eyes to be sunken in... Stress in general will do that, so that may not be necessarily indicative...

Given the fact that he was "completely passed out" I would bring him to a Vet as soon as possible.

any chance u can get a pic up , for your description it seems like hes dehydrated the urate should be white any change in that is a sign of dehydration , suken turrets also . 45 seconds just seems to short of a mist for me usually takes chames well over a minute to consider drinking and might also be the cause for your slightly low humidity , how long does the 50% last for ? under an hour? 40 W blub seems way to low id pick up a digital temp gauge to be certain what otemp your getting in the basking spot

I dont understand the misting situation. You say "Watering - Mist King System, Mist 3 times a day for 45 seconds each. Usually, but I haven't in the past few days." What is the duration of the mistking or is that what is stated? was the mist king going while you didnt the past few days? Mist king is automated so i dont understand the "I havent". Was anything else neglected like his photo period during the last few days?

Yellow in the urates suggests he needs more water. If you have a mistking and drainage. Id set the duration to 2-5 minutes 3-4 times a day. At the moment to get him hydrated really well put him in a shower chamber. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/ataraxia/594-shower-chamber-treatment.html

He needs a basking spot of 90*

I would like to see pictures to give better judgement. Its hard to give good fair advice without seeing the chameleon. Sleeping on the floor during the day is not a good sign.

Sorry, I meant that I have not seen him drink in the past few days, when usually I do. My misting system goes off 3 times a day for 45 seconds each. My dad says that 45 seconds is as long as the mister will go off at one time. I am giveing him mistings outside currently. Will try to get pics up bye tomorrow

He has always ran to the mister when its misting time and has always drank right away except recently. The 50% humidity usually only last till the water is dry after a misting. I have always been told anything over a 40 watt will hurt the chams eyes???

That is your best option - unfortunately it is difficult to solve health problems without a proper diagnosis. Also, your vet will be able to suggest prope treatment!

Are you sure about your system being a "Mist King"? Based on what I can see from their site, their timer has infinite flexibility:
If you're misting an animal enclosure, You now have the freedom and total control. Mist for few seconds in the morning to rehydrate the environment. Mist for few minutes in the after noon to mimic natural weather patterns.

For a vet see Dr Todd Driggers in Gilbert. As far as mistings for AZ 45sec is too short. For reference I mist my panters for 4-5min 4 times a day with a cool mist humidifier in the room.

If you drive you can always swing by my house with him (and the timer for that matter) and I will be happy to look at him. Just know I have never kept Veileds so I have somewhat limited knowledge in the area.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I am checking out that vet now. Im real worried about Rango.

I just got a vet appt at 3 pm today. I will update you guys asap. Im not going to Dr.Driggers because they are closed but his office recomended us to where we're going.

The lady I talked on the phone with said that it sounds like either dehydration or a parasite.

Thanks for all the help.

Yes i am positive its a mist king. My dad is the only one that knows how to adjust the timeing.and he said it can only go up to 45 seconds

I would contact Mist King's customer service and ask them how to set it for longer than 45 seconds. Or maybe someone here can tell you. They say specifically on their site that their least expensive system can be set to mist for "minutes".

Sounds good!! Who are you going to? Also post some pictures if you can and it could help.

You could try giving him a shower on a plant just aim the shower head at the wall so it bounces on the plant and use room temp or slightly warmer water. It's good to give them 20-30min in the shower.

Well, I just got back from the vets. I ended up going to Dr.Driggers for an emergency appt. Driggers said rango has an extreme infection and he doesn't know what it is. He did blood work and found that. He also did another exam thing and found that his Uric Acid level, phosphorus level, and glucose level are extremely, extremely high. And he doesn't know if that has been caused from the infection or if it's from toxicity in his body. And because of that he is worried about his kidney and liver. He also said that he is surprised that Rango was even in the shape he was based on how bad the infection is.

We decided to let Dr.Driggers keep him at the vets till monday for treatment. Basically, there is a 50/50 chance on if Rango will get better or not. We also dont know how much damage has been done to his kidneys/liver and it could also be long term but we will not know till monday. He gave Rango a shot of baytril and many IV fluids. He will continue that till Monday.

I am haveing Dr.Driggers update me on Rango's status everytime he checks on him. I will keep you all updated as well.

Thanks for all the help

Wow, poor Rango. And poor you. Please do let us know how he's doing. They can be very resilient so I'm going to believe he'll be fine.

Yeah i am hopeing he will come out okay. Rango perked up right away when dr.driggers gave him the iv and anti biotics. I just hope that if he gets through this there wont be too much long term damage, and that is what is worrying dr.driggers
