Raspberry plant in cage?

I was wondering would it be dangerous if I just planted a raspberry plant from my garden into the cage of my chameleon, or if that's poisonous to them? I have been growing these for 5 years they have never grown thorns. Thanks for helping

Maybe its because its a younger plant? I wouldnt do it just to be safe, you could go check out the safe plant list and see if its on there though.

Been growing them for a while these are the tame kind they don't grow thorns

I'm not 100 percent positive either but many stick insects feed on plants from this family and they make great feeder insects when fed these plants so it does not seem that raspberry plants would be toxic in any way.

Not all rasberry plants have thorns.

They are not poisonous, but they are poor candidates for indoor growing, because they require a cool period and more light than your cage will likely provide. They are prone to insect infestations when grown indoors and is advise against using it for those reasons.
