So i was sure myfemalewas recpeptive. I introduce mymale to her they check eachother out for a second then he started head bobbing and slowly moving toward her and he trying to position himself and they did that for a while then she movedand he did some bobbing again then started going closer and she started turning these colors and gaped a little but didnt hiss

i seperated them quickly to avoid issues. that do you think

I think that seperating them was the right thing to do. She is clearly not receptive.

Yea iam new to having females so iam still learning. She is about a year old is it possible i have missed her receptive stage?

Before i introduced him to her she was a nice pink color and after him being in the cage for about 5 minutes she changed to that color
