Hello,

I was at the Hamm show here in Germany on saturday and came across a guy selling Repashy products. Well, he convinced enough to buy the bug burger powder for gutloading my feeders. I cant seem to find much information on this product being used on here so thought id ask if anyone knew if it was any good. Im still continuing to gutload using my regular ingredients but would like to know if this alone would be enough?

Relatively new product, only just recently have people started talking about it on this forum. It is itended to be a complete gutload. I personally make my own gutloads, and rely heavily on fresh vegetables and such. But if someone gave me the Repashy product I wouldnt hesitate to try using it at least some of the time - I do not think I would use it exclusively.

I use it as well as Sandra's gutloads. I can tell you that if you put it in with Sandra's stuff they will not touch in until Sandra's is gone :D But I have been using it to provide my superworm colony with moisture, and mixing it in with my own made gutloads following Sandra's blog. It's really nice to have around because it is SO easy so if you are running late and are out of your other stuff it's really easy to whip up a batch and spoon in into the bins. I think it is REALLY rounded gutload and would probably be fine to just use that....but I think making your own with an excellent recipe is less expensive and just as good or better.

i too use it along with sandras gutload and it has been fine for me.. i like that it is also a source of hydration and easy to store and use..

just took mine out of the micro!
I use it in addition, not as a sole source. but I have noticed my crix like it a little warmed up, not straight out of the fridge :)

Ok, i also noticed that the cix and roaches seem to go for the fresh gutload first. I blend and freeze my gutload in ice cube trays first though as it lasts a lot longer, i also freeze the bug burger. I mixed half of a bag, boiled it in a pan until it went goey then put it into a tray until it set. then i cut it into cubes and put it in the freezer. I think ill just continue to use both for the time being until some more research has been done.

Thanks for the responses so far.:D

That was probably me! LOL

I was at Hamm in the back tent all day talking to people.

I just started using it too; got some at the CRBC in TO... so far the crickets seem to like it; I give them a little bit of the other dry one too
