does anyone use this or any other fogger? do the chams actually enjoy the fog or is it just for humidity

I use them on my chams. The room i keep them in is super dry and humidifiers do not create the fog or mist the reptifogger does. its small enough to keep my chams cage at the right humidity level, its a must in dry areas.

Reptifoggers use the same technology as "cool mist" room humidifiers. Room humidifiers seem to hold up better over time. Their water reservoirs are much larger so you don't have to refill them as often. Make sure you use de-mineralized water in them. Hard water deposits will shorten the unit's life a lot.

Yes, go with a cool mist humidifier from walgreens or any other store that sells them. The reptifogger is garbage and breaks quickly.

Just bought a humidifier from the hardware store for 30. The room humidity is 15% without it and is now at 70%. It shoots up to 90% when my mister goes off. Great buy in my opinion.

And, you can create cycles of higher and lower humidity when you aren't home simply by controlling the humidifier with a multiple setting plug in timer.

Define quickly. I've had mine for 5 months now and it is still running strong
they're just known to give out A LOT of seemingly defective devices. Mine broke in less than two weeks. I ordered a replacement...broke again. And no, its not just me, there are plenty of reviews online to confirm this issue. Doesn't mean they all go bad, just means its not worth the 60 dollar risk and the waist of time. Just my 2 cents

My foggier didnt work when I got it- I returned it and got another which broke a month later - big waste - humidifier in room is the way to go

I could say the same for the really expensive mister I bought though it did not work when I opened it.
A lot of things have some sort of defective percentage. Guess I got lucky. I'm probably going to switch to a small humidifier though. I've seen pictures of other peoples on here and they look so much nicer. Plus there's not a long hose to worry about.

My house is very dry during winter time. I have a reptifogger that i've been using for the past year so far (never any issues) and a humidifier. There is a rubber ring that the minerals break down after a while so i buy the jugs of water from kroger and use them instead of the tap water.
