Reptile Super Show - San Diego - June 26-27

The San Diego Reptile show is within walking distance of the Gaslamp that has tons of restuarants.

Also Downtown Johnny Brown's is a very good local burger and brew place right in to the San Diego Concourse (it's literally a couple of hundred feet from the show). The food's pretty good and it has a terrific selection of microbrews, including numerous offerings from San Diego's breweries. The only downside is that it may be overrun by the show's attendees given its close proximity.

Life's too short for uninspired corporate restaurant faire, so if they're a specific cuisine that you want I would be glad to recommend places in the Gaslamp district.

Can you think of any of these places that can seat a large group? I've eaten in the gaslamp district several times and found if you have more than two people your SOL on getting a seat within a reasonable time.

I ate with a large group once... It was with Oakley's sales team at the ASR show... we had the entire second floor of some swanky place... can't imagine how much they spent on it..... I think my point is; it'll be hard to get a lot of people into some of the places in the area. I am sure I am wrong... but I think we need to go 'out of town' to get seats with a larger group.

Okay..my family hates my involvement with the internet and my daughter hates my chameleons...so,no, I'm not going to be joining a party in San Diego...but....The Old Spaghetti Factory just re-opened in Downtown...it's a lovely place, maybe that would be fun?

At present, I'm still on the fence about coming (even though my booth has been paid for for quite some time). I'm still waiting on those melleri babies to hatch and I just know they will while I'm gone.

Assuming I'm there, I will be joining whomever is not going to Outback - I totally agree with Tyler. You pay the same as other places but you get half the quality and quantity. Tyler just wants to go to CJ because he wants to flirt with the waitresses there. ;)

Just so everyone is aware . It doesn't matter if you want to hang out or not its ok. We have a big group who will decide where to go. You can come or not its that easy.

Remember most are being invited to hang out after the show. Its really that easy. Just like a party at someones house you don't have much of a say where where the party is at.

Go or Not thats all you have to decide. We will let everyone know where we will be going.

You have a really good point Kevin. We need to find an outback not in the gas lamp area.

jkjk

We will find a good place I hope those who get the point is to hang out will join us where ever we go
