reptile vets in northern indiana area

You know, its the one thing i have always had no luck in finding so i am curious to see if any other forum members have any ideas for me. From what i know none of the vets in my area deal with chameleons nor reptiles as far as i know of. I am just curious to see if anyone around me knows of a vet in my area or the closest one to me! I would REALLY like to have a vet if i ever needed one!

I looked up the location of your town, and unfortunately I think you are too far from my vet in Downers Grove Illinois. I recently took Nasir to Dr. Todd Gray and was very pleased with my experience! He was very knowledgeable and has had much experience with chameleon. I went with him prepared with questions to test and bombard with him and needless to say he kept up with me... Unfortunately I think It would be atleast a 3 hour drive. People have driven much further for an experienced vet but if you aren't up to it, that's more than understandable. I just thought I'd let you know as it's not quite light years away... I hope you find a viable vet, good luck! :)

if my cham is in bad shape i am willing to drive however many hours! i am just curious to see what was closer to me! thank you all for your help!

John will get on when he has a chance and share what he knows. Look for a post from ataraxia. he is the man for this.

Your a saint! Noahs is right down the street but I never took them as a exotic pet vet since they are quite small

No matter where you take your animal. It is best you do as much research as you can on the issue. Ask as many questions as possible. Bring with you a couple "known chameleons vet" phone numbers with you. If there is a problem they cant find out ask them to seek help from a knowledgeable vet.

Dont be intimidated by a vet. Sometimes your knowledge will help them.
