RIP Liz the Lizard

Yes, my oldest female veiled, my first chameleon and second lizard ever, died this morning. I came to check on her when I got back after hurrying out the door in early morning for errands, and saw her pale green at the bottom of her cage stretched out.

As some of you might remember, I was reporting issues with her, including sunk-in eyes, wierd lime green coloring, 1 eye closed, and just really wierd behavior over the last 2 weeks. Well, it came to a head today.

I'm feeling rough over the issue, she was my first and was a really cool lizard, but it was her time I suppose. Just wish I could of caught whatever she was afflicted with sooner..

I did do an autopsy which I will post pictures of in the Health forum, but this thread is in rememberance of Liz the Lizard

Dave I am so sorry to hear you lost her. I think I would frame the picture of her as the "star" on the christmas tree, that is unusual and very neat. What a lovely girl.
