Nebula had been doing fine. Eating and drinking well, not showing any signs of any problems. Yesterday evening, I noticed that she was sitting on the bottom of her cage and when I got closer, I noticed that her uterus was protruding. It was horrible looking. It looked like a huge red kidney. I felt so sorry for her. She was walking around dragging it behind her. All the vets around here were already closed, but I got her to my vet first thing this morning. He told me that it could be put back in, but that everytime she laid eggs, it would come out again. We decided that it would be best to put her down. My heart was broken for her. She was such a sweet girl. I do have 35 eggs from her incubating right now - which should start hatching hopefully within the next few weeks. It will be nice to have a female from her. Goodbye sweet girl
