Sad Sad News From The Vet Yesterday

Wonderful progress with Red. I am so happy that lovely dog is doing well. Kudos to you for all the care and love you give Red.

This is the first time I have seen this thread. What a happy ending to such a scary ordeal! Glad Red is okay. He's such a pretty boy!!

All of your kind words, thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. We were to the far right of the hurricane when it came by and we are flooded here and I couldn't get out of the neighborhood to take Red for his chemo treatment yesterday. I got him in the car and we both got soaked, drove down to the end of my street and ever way that I looked the streets were under water. The street that I live on you could only see the street in the very center of the road. Well I have a tiny car and was scared to drive through it so I turned around and went back home. Red was so scared from the storm I didn't think I'd ever get him back out of the car. I called and rescheduled his treatment for this Wednesday.

Elisha, Luie is about the same. I'm taking him to Orlando Thursday for more blood work and the special x ray. I also think I will email Dr. Madder today for a consult.

Poor Red! You guys could really be doing without a scare like that with everything else that's going on! Hope his treatment goes well on wednesday :)

Thank you Angie and Lynda. Red had another treatment today. He seems fine but did throw up right after we got home but I think it was from all the bones that the girls gave him at the cancer clinic. They give him lots of bones and lots of belly rubs to keep him still for his treatments. :)

To be honest every time I check this post I get a bit too emotional so I only check once a week. But each time I do I get a little piece of Joy knowing Red is doing better :)
