Sadie and the Hibiscus

Sadie's 4 1/2 months old and and such a little mess. She is spoiled rotten.

She loves the Hibiscus flower and goes for the center first everytime, just like her Grandma Camille did. Here's a short little video of her and a few pictures.

Veilds are not my favorite (like them, just not my fav), but man that looks awesome. After spending all day out looking for that exact plant, I now want it even more. I just have to wait a few more weeks.

Blackhawk, the hibiscus works great outside by not so good inside. They require ALLOT of light.

she is cute as a button!! i bought 2 hibiscus about 1-2 months ago i repotted them in plain potting oil they were ok for a week or so then started to go really bare so i took them out of the cages and put them in my closet with a spot and a 6500k light where i do all my clippingsand its recouping really goo there are shoots everywhere so i would recommend a 6500k light for the hibiscus plat for indoor use plus another regular light. i wish we were out there with you jan that would be heaven for my chams...

Thank you so much for all the nice comments on Sadie. She is a really sweetheart and I love her so much.

Jessica, Sadie weighs 56 grams. Her mother ia a big girl. I'm feeding her everyother day about 8 to 10 small to med. feeders and will start 3 times a week next month.

Dez, you will have to post some pictures of Sprite and Spike soon.

Bloodhound, that's a very nice shot of your handsome little man next to the hibiscus.
