so my new screen cage just came in yesterday and i finished putting it together just right now. It is 4h x 2d x 2w, Its massive!! i am going to put a nice big ficus tree in there for him with lots of bamboo fro him to climb on, with some vines i will have swirling around the cage. I plan on having him it it by sunday (the latest) I am just so concerned about keeping the humidity and heat up. I have 3 light bulbs for him. A 100 watt basking lamp, a 10.0 UVB(13 watt) light (and a 60 watt night lamp). Do you think with the heat and UVB light on he will have enough heat during the day? and with the humidity i have one sprayer going off every hour for 16 seconds, do u think if i add the second one the humidity will be ok? i dont think i will have this problem during the summer but i think winter, spring and fall will be a little tough

What are the temps in the room during the year? If its comfortable for you he should be fine as long as he can bask and then move away from the heat when he needs to. 100 watts is pretty powerful, so make sure to monitor the actual temps at the basking perch to make sure its not too hot. You are not planning to use a lamp at night right? Chams have full color vision and most light-emitting bulbs will disturb them. Also, you won't need to provide night time heat unless the room drops below 50 F at night.
As for humidity, start measuring the levels in the room now. Depending on season, heating, AC use, etc. the cage may need more misting, a humidifier, or modifications (such as attaching sheet plastic, shower curtains, or plexiglass panels) to maintain the correct range for him. WE can't predict this so it will take some trial and error and measurements to figure it out.

My screen cage is 6hx3dx3w and I have a exo terra monsoon that goes of every hour for 16 to 20 seconds and with some live plants the humidity is always above 50% and usually around 70 to 80%.

yea my room temp is usually around 65-70 during the day and at night it gets around 59 ish. I do plan on using the night lamp. The only reason why i use it is to give him the extra heat and plus he won't go to sleep without it on. We do usually use the ac and heat durring the hot and cold times of the year so i will defintaly keep up the misting when needed. Thank you for your advice!! i will definitely use it

DO NOT use any nighttime bulbs. If it gets too cold at night use a ceramic heat emitter, but 60 degrees is fine for a nighttime drop. Any lights on at night will disturb your chams sleeping pattern.
