I'm having problems with hanging plants from the ceiling... Im using the hook on the left but eventually it works itself loose... Luckily no chams where in the plant at the time...
What are you guys using to suspend plants or hanging free ranges?
Thanks.....

Here are the hooks I'm using the one on the left... looked sturdier to me...

The one on the right will never come loose. Not unless it rusts through. The one on the left could easily strip itself out if you try to hang from drywall or something.

The one on the right will actually be much sturdier. You want to get the wings through the drill hole and above the drywall to distribute the weight of the plant over a larger area. Less chance to pull out - with the one on the right, every time the plant moves a little, it wiggles the hole a little larger and will eventually fall out. Did the one on the right come with a weight rating?

mav805, I think that's what's happening the one I'm using is stripping itself out..

The one on the right is designed to hold more weight.

That's what I'd prefer, " stronger tensil strength"! Thanks for the input!

Lathis, the weight rating was 30lbs. on ceiling tiles/drywall...
I think the occasional wiggling was causing the hook on the left to work itself lose.....

Think I'll be changing out my hooks!!!!!
