Securing Vines in Enclosure?

So I am trying to get the vines in my cage setup, I ordered 2 sets of flukers small vines, and I can't seem to get them to be stable enough to support any weight without damaging my plant.

Pothos will hang from top left, basking is top right.

How do you guys secure your vines? Below is a picture of my enclosure (minus the pothos, I was replanting at the time.

What I did was I used fishing line, wrapped around a given point several times and tied on the outside... then I hot glued the knot...

How much does a cham typically weigh? I got the vines pretty secure, if I put pressure on them with my hand they do give a little, but I can't imagine a cham weights enough for these vines to fall.

I just set my cage up I'll be getting my first cham in about a week. he's still very young so I would imagine my vines are gonna hold. I think if u get a baby u should be fine too and just figure things out as he/she grows.

Yeah, I am getting a 3 month old veiled, I actually JUST ordered him to be delivered tomorrow. The only problem I have is securing the vines now, but I have over 24 hours til he gets here.

If he's a baby I'm pretty sure you'd be fine with zip ties I found some of the smallest ones I could at home depot so i didnt have to spread the screen out so much.

Yeah I have a ton of zip ties, I used a few and 2 small hooks near the top that hold the vine steady.

My new digital camera won't turn on, so I am running to the 24hr walmart to replace it so I can get some pics tomorrow when he gets in.

There is a metal rod in the center of my vines so I just trimed back a 1/2" off of the the end and pushed the rod through the screen and the I bent the end and your done.

I got the vines all in and ready to go. My cham should be here around 10am in the morning.

And here is a close up on the smaller vines in the center

Looks GREAT! the only thing I would add would be some dowels or sticks at different levels as a perch... I did this and it acts as a natural thermometer for my cham... I can tell exactly how hot or cold it is depending on which of 4 perches he is on

I will see how he does tomorrow when he gets in, I have a few dowels in my apartment I can use.

I use aviation safety wire, which fits right through the mesh and twists up nicely. Many people will use floral wire in 20+ gauge. You can find it in arts and crafts stores that sell floral stuff.

I use push pins. Stick them in from the outside into the branches. I also use a ton of twist ties.

Id use zip ties but I like to take his cage apart to clean it ever two weeks. Be a shame to have to cut them each time I wanted to take something out.
