I rescued this veiled the end of June. I guessed him to be 5 months old then, so now would be 7 months old. He has MBD issues. I think we got that back on track. I have him on a normal routine of supplements now. He has reptisun 5.0 tube. I have a basking spot but my house is so hot already I don't have a high watt bulb as it would fry him. I have him in a 4'x4'x2' home made cage, all mesh but 1 side is wood. I have a dripper going all the time and I spray at least 3 times but mostly more than that. He used to drink when I sprayed but I haven't seen that since we moved cages. I have 3 cup feeders filled everyday but I don't think he is eating at all. I bought some silks and he won't touch them, same with the horn worms and also dubias. When I first got him he ate really good. I was giving him small super worms and he would eat 20 or more a day. Now he won't even eat those. I tried giving him bigger ones to see if he was having an issue with the small size and he still won't touch them.
Back to the cage, I have a hibiscus, umbrella tree, ficus and a little corn plant(don't know the name right off but I found it on this site as a good plant for chams) all these plants are real. I also have some real branches in there, and fake vines all over to give access to entire cage. I just want people to see him and tell me if you think he is ok or if you think he is dehydrated. I am afraid his eyes look sunken to me. In the past 2 months he has grown probably 4" or more. He stays green more now.
I just want to throw this in because I was fascinated by his behavior the other day, wish I got a pic of it. The other day I was trying to give him a silk worm and he hissed and lunged at me several times and turned the most brilliant green I had ever seen, he also had very black stripes and dots and the contrast was the most beautiful sight! I didn't like the situation but it was beautiful.
Anyway here are pics of him to see if he is ok.
